Our Review:

Camsturbate.com looks a little different to many sites. It has less features than many cams sites and most of the features it does have are hidden away. As cams sites go, it is fairly standard, with a decent range of performers and competitive prices (with no membership fees) so it's worth a look.

Ok. We're all agreed that 'Camsturbate' is probably the worst cams site name of all time. But what about the rest of the site? Well, on first impressions it looks pretty slick and well designed, with a nice uncluttered feel to it. 

It's worth signing up, as it's free and you don't have to disclose any credit card details for age verification purposes. The homepage is pretty bare, and you have to click on the 'models online' tab to see who is available. The thumbnails are quite large, with detailed information about what a performer is into. You can see whether a performer is available for chat, send them a message, view their pictures and videos or look at member reviews. This is all done very well and whilst giving you plenty of detailed the thumbnails do not overwhelm you or make for a cluttered feel. 

Like a lot of cams sites, it may be slightly more difficult to satisfy your niche interest than on other sites. The chat room categories are confined to 'girl', 'man', 'girl/girl', 'boy/girl' and 'transsexual'. You can also look at new performers, award-winning performers and those offering free live chat. The performers are mostly American and Canadian, and you'll find somewhere in the region of 100 online when you log in. Most will make the effort to chat and answer any questions in free chat before you go into private chat, but, unsurprisingly, there is the sense of being pressured to go Private as soon as you enter the chat room, which does not really occur so much elsewhere. What's the hurry? You'll probably be more likely to spend credit if you are able to develop a rapport first. Whilst being a community cam site, the cam quality is generally good. Don't expect as many High Definition cams as on the Top 10 sites, nor the large sized screens in Free Chat. It's fun to press the 'buzzer' icon on the video screen when in the chat room, especially when faced with an empty couch or bed. But don't expect anyone to come running.

To get any real fun, you're going to need to buy credit. One good thing about the site when buying credit is that purchases are one-off rather than recurring, so you can simply top up with credit as and when you need to. Just a shame that they decided to call them 'Camsturbate Bucks'. There are two basic types of chat available - free chat, and private chat where you go one-to-one with the performer.

On the profile pages you can learn all about the performers. There is also space for performers to upload pics and videos. Whilst you may find a few free-to-view pics on most profiles, don't expect anything too wild. Hardly any performers have videos uploaded, so you may as well forget about this feature. However, the profiles are fairly detailed. Another nice thing is that, in addition to the star ratings, members can give written feedback about performers, giving you a much better idea of what to expect or look out for. 

Camsturbate is a nice little cams site, but lacks much originality. That said, the prices are reasonable, the streaming's good and the girls (and boys) are allegedly horny, so dive in.
