EveLive tempts you into its own Eden, but rather than apples it has hot female models on offer. However whilst there’s plenty of temptation from the models’ profiles and photos, you’ll have to open your wallet if you want anything more.
Our biggest disappointment with this site is that you really can’t do anything much at all without purchasing some credit. It’s quite usual to be able to view at least a small sample of a model’s broadcast, or to talk with them via text chat before having to pay for a private performance. On this site, though, you can only view their basic profile and one or two photos before you are directed to the purchases page. This is problematic for a couple of reasons. Firstly, why would you want to spend money before finding a model who interests you? Secondly, the site offers several ways to purchase credit but some of those methods seem very expensive.
Let’s look at this credit system for a moment. You must purchase credit in order to view a model’s cam. Prices are set, with 50 credits lasting around 10 minutes. Please see our “costs” section in this review to work out how far your money will go. Purchases can be made online for free, or through text message (this works out more expensively). If you’re interested in purchasing enough credit for just one live show then you can also call a special number to arrange this and receive a code, but this costs £1.53 ($2.50) per minute. The variety of payment methods is quite confusing and the site doesn’t give the proper details to explain exactly how the system works or what you are paying for, so do be careful and clear about what you want.
We liked the fact that the thumbnail views of models are sometimes like little movie trailers, showing you moving images of the model in action. This was a nice touch that added a sense of the performance you might receive. Also, a number of the models appear to have professional shots taken of them, so you can really see what they look like very clearly. Whilst you can create a list of your favourite models, and the site shows you when they’re online, there is very little in the way of extra features. Chats are basic, as are cam options, and there are no signs of being able to send gifts, create detailed profiles or engage with other members. It feels somehow lonely, very much like walking into a strip bar, being placed in a private booth and being shown a catalogue of models before being able to have any kind of experience.
