xCams offers a pay-by-minute system to help you fulfil your deepest desires. Choose from up to 3000 webcam models and performers, hundreds of whom may be online at any one time.

Sadly, finding your ideal model isn’t as easy as it could be. You need to choose from somewhat peculiar choices including the quality of their video stream and how long it was since they logged on. However, you can also choose by age, languages spoken and gender. We would prefer a few more sensible options like “hair colour”, “sexual preferences” and “ethnic origin”, though, as a number of the sorting options seem quite arbitrary and don’t  necessarily help you find a model to suit your tastes.

The quality of video streams and audio is variable, although HD is available and you can choose to only see models with high definition streams. Gaining access to any video is difficult/near impossible if you’re not already a registered and paying member, though the site works on a credit-based  system whereby you purchase “packs” which allow you to join performances and speak with the models. You can also send texts, although that’s really an expensive option, particularly as most sites offer free chat options in each room.

One2One is a special service that allows you to talk with a model in a private room without any interruptions. You can use your microphone to actually speak with her. You can also keep a tab on how long you’ve spent chatting to models (a small counter appears at the bottom of your browser) and how many of your favourite models are online at any given time.

xCams.com suffers from insufficient customer service. The FAQ answers only around 15-20 predetermined questions and you’re otherwise restricted to sending in a message to request support. If you have a phone and are willing to pay the price then you can also call one of several international numbers to gain support. Overall there is just a general lack of information on the site, which isn’t helped by the fact that you are frequently redirected to the payment options in a bid to have you type in your credit card details. As such it’s difficult to get a good idea of how good the site might be, because there are so many restrictions in place that just seem to want you to hand over your money before you’ve even experienced anything they have to offer.

This might be a good sex cam website, but it’s hard to tell. More information and customer support is absolutely necessary, and greater access to actual live broadcasts for non-paying members, even for a limited time, would help. Once you do sign up the costs are very high, and we’re really not sure it’s worth it.
