Our Review: Icams.com is an impressive-looking site that's packed with a lot of really great performers. HQ and HD cams with smooth cam streaming, live audio and a host of other features make this a sensible choice for those wanting value for money. You can have a good look round the site without signing up. You can even go into the free chat rooms and get an idea of what's on offer. However, there is little in terms of FAQs or guidance. Compared to most of the other sites outside the top 10 this is one of the better ones. Remember though, that you will need your credit card details handy, even if you're signing up for the free standard membership. The homepage is fairly well-ordered and set out clearly, with a list of thumbnails of those performers who are currently online. As cam sites go, Icams.com boasts a large number of performers, which gives you, the member, a fairly wide choice. Expect to see a few hundred performers online when you log in. Down the left hand side of the homepage you'll notice a number of chat room categories. Whilst the vast majority of performers are lone females, you'll also find a few guys and the odd shemale, although the choice in the latter two categories isn't great. If guys or shemales are more what you're after, you might be better off checking out dedicated cam sites such as CamWithHim.com or GenderBenders.com. If you're into ladies, the choice is really good. With performers from across the globe, there are some truly stunning women here. There
are plenty of HD and HQ cams on the site, generally giving you
a better cam streaming experience. However, the cams will
depend on the technical specifications of the performer's chat room and
your own computer and internet connnection.
You can also toggle between small, medium, browser-sized and
full-screen video sizes. There are a number of different chat types to choose from. In the free chat rooms you are unlikely to see anything particularly hot, and you won't get any attention from the performer. In nude chat you get to interact with the performer in the company of other members, meaning that it might feel a little crowded. However, the performer should get naked. If you want to get one-on-one with the performer then private chat is available, but more expensive. Groups shows are the cheap option, but you are unlikely to have any interaction with the performer because of the number of members watching. You can get discounted chat if you join a performer's discount club, however, this is only really worthwhile if you spend a lot of time on the site with a particular performer. In terms of other features, Icams.com does away with most of the non-chat items that clutter up the site and end up costing you even more money. There is an excellent search engine in which you can specify a range of performer criteria in order to find exactly what you're looking for. In addition, the site features an Icams.com support desk to which you can direct any questions or problems you might have. They might have been more forthcoming with their pricing policy though, as this cannot be found until you sign up and give your payment details. Whilst Icams.com is a neat site with all of the features you need, including a good selection of performers and great cam streaming, there is a need for a little more info and guidance before signing up.
