This site was the top live cam site five years ago, but with all the detrimental changes made since then, it has become not worth visiting. There are almost no American models; most of them are in Romanian studios. There is a lot of model turnover. Most of the models are camming on multiple sites and are uninspired. About 90% of them have the OhMiBod, which I find atrocious, but if you like the OhMiBod thing, then by all means sign up there quickly. :) They just spun off their cam section to "stripchat" which means that if you are an xHamster user you need to create a new profile on Stripchat. You can't comment on models's pics, or on their profile there. You can no longer report bad users as was once the case; moderation is handled entirely by the model and so-called 'knights," who have the power to ban free users but not other premium users (premium users are called "gold members"). Unfortunately, the models tend not to choose their "knights" carefully, and these days it's usually based on how much someone tips rather than their demonstration of experience and a rational approach of whom to ban. The place is overrun with trolls of both the free user and premium user variety, and the owners and admins do nothing to stop it. All I can say in a positive light at this time is that the chat room interface is clean and simple, and there are far fewer rules than on other sites so the models can be more creative; for example, models are allowed to smoke and drink on cam. if you are interested in checking it out, I would recommend creating a free user account first and lurking for several days to get the feel of the place. if you like it, then by all means sign up to get tokens and go "gold," which is what you need to do if you expect to get any response from the models.
